On October 10, 2024, Guess launched the Guess Again program, encouraging customers to mail in textiles of any brand. Through the Guess Again Program, customers can request a shipping label online through the Guess website and send in worn clothing from any brand. In any Guess store in the U.S. and Canada, customers can bring in five or more articles of clothing. In exchange for the clothes, customers receive credit towards their next Guess purchase.
Guess partnered with textile waste management company, SuperCircle, which also worked with J. Crew, Uniqlo, and Reformation to help customers trade in apparel.
“SuperCircle is proud to partner with GUESS on its journey to achieving true textile circularity. With 85% of textiles ending up incinerated or in landfills and 92 million tons of textile waste generated each year, accessible, value-creating textile recycling programs have never been more needed,” mentions Chloe Marie Songer, CEO and Co-founder of SuperCircle.

The partnership with SuperCircle marks an addition to the existing Guess recycling program with Homeboy Threads. After customers send their items for recycling, Homeboy Threads sorts and processes these clothes for repair and resale. SuperCircle manages the technology interface, collection, sorting, processing, and disassembly of items.
Guess Again highlights the strong commitment of the company towards sustainable fashion. By 2025, Guess aims to increase repair, resale, and upcycle initiatives. This plan involves 50% of all main apparel coming from Guess Eco. By 2030, Guess targets 100% recyclable product packaging and a 50% reduction in direct and indirect greenhouse emissions. With its environmental initiatives and partnerships, Guess remains on track to reach these goals in the next 6 years.
